This is a RARE Johann Haviland Waldershof appetizer plate from c.1907-24. It features heavy gold trim and is hand painted with pink and blue florals.

Based on research, the seller believes this is from 1907-24. The Johann Haviland Company was founded in 1907 in Waldershof Germany by John Haviland. The mark is the JHW (JH with W on top). In 1924 it was sold and the name was changed to Porzellanfabrick Waldershorf at which time the marking changed to include the Porzellanfabrick name. In 1937, Rosenthal purchased the company, at which time the china was marked "Johann Haviland, Bavaria, Germany"

Seller does not know what the monogram SC stands for. It may be the actual owner's monograma as there are pieces with that same monogram on another set of Rosenthal pieces dated 1891-1906 that was owned by the same individual.

If you anyone is able to provide a more detailed history or believes seller is incorrect, please reach out as I am truly happy and grateful to learn more.
